You know you've married the right man when, for no reason at all, he suddenly gets up from the couch and says "would you like a Cosmopolitan, perhaps?"

Yes, I am still around (happy birthday Mum!), but... Well there's really no excuse for me not writing. Blame it on Summer. Blame it on things more or less having come to a complete standstill. Blame it on me generally not feeling too swell. I'll be back. Hope you're enjoying your Summer!

P.S. And also: enjoy Harry Potter! :-)

Morning!

I'm mad about Pivot, but... have you seen Nucleus? Very nice indeed. I'm thinking of starting up a Dutch log, maybe I'll try out Nucleus for that one. Looks promising.

A Sim to my heart! It's not all bad. I like my home. It's warm, it welcomes, and I'm still very happy we found this house, cardboard walls and all. (Looks like the neighbours sold their house, btw. Please cross your fingers for me...) Olivier was glad to be home, too. Rediscovering all his favourite spots one by one, piping up each time in his small happy voice. :-) Went to the Consultation Bureau today for his checkup, and all was well. He's a tiny bit small for his age, but in perfect proportion to his weight, so no cause for worry.

happy Sim And of course, my Sims were happy to have me back, too. :-p (For Lulu - two pictures of my favourite Sim of the moment. Now show me yours! ;-))

Back. Overall: good times. Even got a tan!

Wallonians (French speaking Belgians) are pigs though. What a mess. Apparently, it's common usage to just leave your litter anywhere you like in Belgium. Great when travelling with a small kid. Also nearly got killed by a car racing past with about 5 mm to spare - twice. And I won't even go into the noise these people make. Car radios should be outlawed. Peace and quiet? Not for me. Could have stayed at home.

It's not all moan. Read 8 books, that was pretty relaxing. Olivier made a couple more teeth, well done! Went swimming and biking, good too. And had enough BBQ to keep me happy for the rest of the summer. Am going to start working on a new and healthier me starting... tomorrow. Who knows, it may even lift this depression that's been overwhelming me all too often lately.
