Now that I'm updating this again, what I would really like to do is fiddle around with the design a bit, so it matches the other parts of my site. But the idea of having to dive into all that code again just puts me off. Gone are the days that I actually had time to sit around and play all day. Sigh. Although I shouldn't complain too much, because I do actually have children that manage to amuse themselves most of the time. It's just how you train them, you know.
(And it's probably just a passing phase, too. Ha!)
Anyway. It's dreary outside, although there's a good wind (which I like), and I feel the urge to bake something today. Need to give the kitchen a good clean first though. Sunday's cleaning day. Or maybe I'll just hide behind my doll's body. ![]()

Goodness. It's been a while since I updated this log... Erm. Well, I got sidetracked. Quite heavily.
There's the kids, of course. They're doing great! Olivier's just started elementary school (or is that kindergarten? I never know which is which), and - can you believe it - Nynke will be one year old in about a month!
Then, there's my old friend Guild Wars. Still playing, just celebrated my 2nd anniversary.
And then (and this is the big one), there's Ravelry. The best thing that's happened to me in years, as far as craftiness goes. It's a huge knitting & crochet community, and once you're in (there's a waiting list, it's by invitation only), it just will not let you go. It's fantastic! I'm knitting my little heart out at the moment, meeting loads of new people and having so much fun. If you're in as well - I'm Meikemuis.
Let's see, what else is new... O yes, I quit my job. *gasp* I just couldn't take it anymore, the commuting, the pressure, the routine. So I'm now working from home as a freelance editor. And you know what? It's great! This way, I can still earn some money (albeit a lot less, but hey, that's not the point), while at the same time being able to pick up Olivier from school in the afternoon. Much, much better.
Now if you will excuse me, there's some work to do. :)

Hi Shelley,
Thanks so much for dropping by! I've only just started updating this weblog again, it's been dormant for quite a long time, so I don't get too many vistors yet I think. Reading your comment was a nice surprise. :)
My twin and me are fraternal, in looks and in spirit we couldn't be more different. We do however sense each other's feelings very well. :)
