Let me tell you something - even experienced moms get stressed and insecure when the new little one won't stop crying for two hours, refuses to drink normally but instead lets go every two seconds and generally does nothing but get all red in the face. Ugh. I'd forgotten all about that part.
Thankfully, she's asleep now. Let's hope it was just a temporary thing.

Life's pretty good right now. We were pampered by my parents last week, all week long, all four of us. (See, it just comes naturally now, this foursomeness!) And today was my first day alone with the kiddies, because Pieter had to get back to work. I hadn't been looking forward to it, but much to my surprise, it went very smoothly, with the little one sleeping most of the time and Olivier playing in the garden. Hey, I can do this! was what I said to myself at the end of the afternoon. A very good feeling. It'll probably be much harder once Nynke is a bit older, but we'll worry about that later...
They're such dolls, my kidlets. *grins*
*giggles* Sorry, I just had to share. Shaun the Sheep has got his very own website (and series!)! I for one cannot wait to see it!
