Damn, I hate traffic accidents. Passed one this morning. They make me teary-eyed and shaky. Even when all's been cleared away, it's almost as if you can still feel the pain in the air. As if you cycle through a pain bubble.
Also, it's crying babies day. Small tiny infants bawling their heads off. Maybe it's me - maybe I took a bit of the pain bubble with me to Amsterdam this morning? Poor babes.
Better get to work, I'm late enough as it is, and I've got Olivier pick up duty this afternoon, which means I'll have to leave early, too.

Hello.
Er, that was all I wanted to say. But maybe that's a bit boring.
How are you? I'm fine, thank you. Feeling a bit old as of September 19.
I look old, too. When I
gaze glance in the
mirror these days I don't feel very attractive. I used to have these
attractive days, you know. Not anymore, no sirree. I think that's what
having a child does to you. (Sure, blame it all on the child. So easy.)
And to think we'll have another kidlet one day, if all goes well. No, no, not
*now*, and I'm not preggers either. Don't get your hopes up - it's
twinnie's turn first.
Sigh. Also - how can one be worn out when one works only three days a
week? The weekend is longer than the working week, for crying out loud.
Luckily, Autumn is just around the corner. That should get my spirits
up. And maybe my energy levels will soar, too.
I'll now go cuddle the guineapig, who hasn't been outside today and thus needs a bit of tender loving care.
P.S. Anyone else suffering from the Autumn Online Buying Virus? I don't
know why, but I get this every single year. When I smell Autumn in the
air, I suddenly start waving around my creditcard online. Books, bags,
bathrobes, you name it. UPS will exist solely by delivering my
purchases this month. Why? Why? Why? It's not as if I'm a millionaire.

It's that time of year again!
Happy birthday to twinnie and meeeee, happy birthday to twinnie and meeeee, happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to twinnie and me!

31. Jeez. That means we're almost 40! Eek!

I'm sorry folks, I've been abducted by
The Sims 2: Nightlife...

Great site, great bags! Gotta have me one of those. Next month, when the money's back in from wherever it went (even money deserves a holiday sometimes, don't you agree?). I especially like the Blunderbus. In red/silver, of course.
Or wait, no. Maybe the Wonder Weenie, after all. Oh hell. They're *all* great!

Nine Eleven days to go to my birthday and I already know my present. It is sooo decadent, I'm almost ashamed. But it was either that or a cat, so Pieter had no choice, really.
Although the cat would have been much, much cheaper.
I'm such a spoiled little girl.
People at the station looked confused today, like they didn't know how they got there. Don't look at me for answers, I'm on a completely different planet altogether this morning. Shouting matches going on in my head between fictitious characters. That should sum it up nicely.

What I hate most when going into work in the morning:
- The lithe little bitches that think they’ve got the right
to get off the train before everyone else, just because they’re young
and slim and fashionably dressed. Hello, we’re getting off at this
station too, you know. Why not just wait until it’s your turn? There’s
absolutely no need to shoulder your way to the front of the line –
you’re not the only one going anywhere. Stupid twits.
- The chagrined cows in the elevator who haven’t even got the
decency to offer a greeting in return when you leave but just stare
instead.
I don’t know why it’s the women that irk me most. The men do it too,
the staring thing. Which is absolutely infuriating, too. But when a
woman does it, it makes me so much more angry, in a ‘hey, we should be
sticking together you know’ kind of way.
Oh well. Got to go. Things to do.

Having finally found my new mantra (If everybody else feels good inside their own skin, why shouldn't I, too?), I now definitely need a cat.
Poor you
