When I see this, I just *know* I need
a new game. Don't you want to play too?
Then again, I just don't like playing RPGs online with thousands of other players. Especially if I don't know any of them. Er. I know, that could be a bit of a problem, if you're into roleplaying games. But hey, I loved Baldur's Gate, I loved Planescape:Torment. And I played them solo. So there. I'm just an anti-social gamer!

Happy second wedding anniversary to Pieter and me!
Two years ago, I got married - and I didn't even know yet that Olivier (in the tiniest possible form) was there too!

Oooo yes, it's perfect today. The editorial department and me will be going to the beach! We're going to make & paint our own kites, fly them and have a BBQ after - and it's hot out there! Yeeehaa!
Sun cream, anyone?

... and then he surpised us all and walked!!
He'd been practising for a while now, but today, he did it for real.

Let go of the table and step step stepped to me! And to Pieter and
to me and back again! He can't stop.

You should see the triumphant
look on his little face!

He cries, and cries, and cries some more. And then: hey, look! It's another molar!
Sigh...
***
Also. You get up at 7 because he's crying and wide awake. You're fed up with him by 9. What to do? Hell if I know.
(Playpen. That's it. He's now sitting in it, fiddling with a stuffed
animal. (He must be really sick. When did he ever play with a stuffed
animal? The only one he likes is that really tiny hedgehog we got him
at IKEA's, and even that is just for bedtime.))
***
Or: feed him banana and apple. Makes him very happy. New energy and all that.

Because I said I would. And because I wanted to write something (got to
keep this blog alive) but was completely & utterly uninspired:
Our kitchen before...
... and after!
There's still that ugly hole above the stove that needs work, but we're
not going to talk about that here. It took the good kitchen
installation firm boys five whole days to build in this kitchen anyhow. (Just
for reference: our kitchen must be one of the smallest on earth.) Five
days... Poor guys.
O! O! Before you go, I need you to see
our sink too.

You know what? Why not take a look at all of my
House & Garden pics. Everyone's bored *sometimes*. What better way to waste some time?

Life is two weeks of snot. Followed by one and a half week without
snot, but with a fever, because we're making molars here. After that,
it's snot again. Repeat.
Still, we do love each other. To bits, actually.

Hi! If you're looking for pictures of Oliviers second year (so far), they've been moved to my
Flickr account!
The first year's still at the
old address.
End of service announcement!

I eat. I sleep. I work. I play. That's it. Maybe I'll have something interesting to report soon.
Or maybe not.
Did you know that our kitchen is almost finished? Yes, it's true. I've even got the pictures to prove it. Maybe I'll post them soon. Or maybe not. Heh.
WoW is the most amazing Online RPG i have ever played and i reccommend it highly to any wannabe player, once your in, you will discover a massive world, of wonder and fun, even tho this is a year old blog i had to comment when my eyes randomly fell upon it. As for being antisocial, just become a rogue and ignore all the other poor cretans in the game it will certainly help you on your way to becoming more social =)

*grins* Thank you for your comment. I must admit I have since been seduced by the wonderful world that is Guild Wars.
And lo and behold, I've become a social creature! I am now of the opinion that playing on your own is... well, boring, really.
