Waldorf doll resources: a list

Posted on oktober 4th, 2009 in found, tutorial, waldorf dolls by Meike

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve finally gotten round to adding a Waldorf Doll Resources list to this weblog. On it, you’ll find links to books, DVDs, online patterns and tutorials I have collected over the years. I hope you’ll find it of use! If there’s anything missing that you think should be on there, do not hesitate to let me know, either by sending me an email (meike{AT}starrysheep{DOT}com) or by leaving a comment.

But before you go (and I cannot stress this often enough), please note:

Most of the patterns I am linking to are for personal use ONLY. Please respect the original owner’s copyright – do NOT claim any of these as your own and do NOT copy or redistribute any of these patterns/instructions in any way without asking the original copyright owner’s express permission first!

Thanks… and enjoy!

Thank you, sweet Meike, for sharing this list with us. I am too lazy to write one for my classes (I should, I know 😉 ) but I am happy that you have written one for all of us!

Apart from a few lovly collegues (as you) I am only sharing my patterns or techniques in my courses, it feels so much better to at least know the person who uses it…

I plan to write a post about patterns both for dolls as for doll clothes and would love to link to your list if that is fine with you?

    Stormy greetings from Berlin

Of course, feel free to link to the list, Juliane! I’m looking forward to your post. 🙂 And I completely understand your reluctance to share any of your patterns or techniques online – it’s an open invitation for copycats, and keeping in mind the trouble you’ve already had with those kind of people *without* even actively sharing your patterns… Some people stop at nothing. It’s a very, very sad truth.

Stormy here as well!! Autumn, yay! 🙂

Hello Sophie, of course, feel free to link to the list! I don’t think I knew the dollsfever blog yet, it’s lovely! I’ll be adding it to my blogroll right after writing this. My French is not as good as it used to be, but I think I can understand most of it, if I give it my very best effort. 🙂 I love the dollmaking tips!

Do you ever sell patterns for Waldorf doll clothing? My grandaughter wants some clothes for her doll and, to be perfectly honest,
I flunked sewing machine a long time ago, and my knitting is ok, but I can’t work without a pattern.
