Is there anything better than dollmaking, homemade tarte tatin and tea?

on my table

I think not. 🙂

Making good progress! 🙂

cake stand

Missing from this picture: the ever elusive strawberry I made earlier and the fried egg, which just didn’t look right in a cake stand. 😉

keukenYeah! Look what we just got! It’s the IKEA mini kitchen. 😀 Extremely hard to come by around these parts, since they’re always sold out within a few days, but we got lucky this time! I know, it’s not Saint Nick just yet, but a girl’s got to start planning gifts early, right? Now at least I can finally throw in all these little cooking utensils I’ve been collecting over the years!

We were originally going to build our own kitchen, but I just couldn’t resist this one. Besides, Pieter’s still recovering from all the renovating we had to do in our new home. And hey – this one has cooking rings that light up red. 🙂

Ah, to be a child again!

Mima’s cardi

Mima's second cardi

Hurray, Mima’s cardi is done! It’s always the buttons that take me longest… 😉

I’ve also been working on her undies (you can just see them above her tunic’s neckline), and I’m almost done with her pants; just need to knit the gusset closed. Then it’s on to the booties (probably in the same colour as her cardigan), and after that: off to the shop!

I’ll keep you posted.

Waldorf doll resources: a list

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve finally gotten round to adding a Waldorf Doll Resources list to this weblog. On it, you’ll find links to books, DVDs, online patterns and tutorials I have collected over the years. I hope you’ll find it of use! If there’s anything missing that you think should be on there, do not hesitate to let me know, either by sending me an email (meike{AT}starrysheep{DOT}com) or by leaving a comment.

But before you go (and I cannot stress this often enough), please note:

Most of the patterns I am linking to are for personal use ONLY. Please respect the original owner’s copyright – do NOT claim any of these as your own and do NOT copy or redistribute any of these patterns/instructions in any way without asking the original copyright owner’s express permission first!

Thanks… and enjoy!
